This is a volunteer position, compensation is making a contribution for wildlife in need!
Location:
Virtual with some in-person meetings at Kawartha Wildlife Centre,
470 Robinson Road, Ennismore, Ontario, K0L 1T0
Key Tasks
Provides strategic planning and guidance on community relations focused on publicengagement, education, and collaboration.
Provides strategic insight to identify relationship-building and partnership opportunities toshape and achieve effective community relations programs, plans and objectives forKawartha Wildlife Centre
Provides leadership to the Community Relations Committee
Superior oral and written communications skills with the ability to communicate effectivelywith diverse community stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
Passion for and dedication to our local communities in the City of Peterborough/Peterborough County/City of Kawartha Lakes!
Demonstrated experience with community building, fundraising, and engagement
It is preferred that new Directors have prior Board/governance experience, but this is not required.
