COVID-19 and Wildife
Many studies have determined that the zoonotic virus has infected many other species including felines (Domestic and large cats), canines (domestic dog), mustelids (Mink), rodents (Deer Mice) and ungulates (White-Tailed Deer).
It is possible that a person who is infected with COVID-19 may transmit the virus to wild mammals if they come into direct contact. If you find a sick or injured animal, use precaution to prevent transmission. Wear gloves and a face mask, and avoid handling them.
