A major part of our mission and goal is to educate the Kawartha and Peterborough communities on the benefits of wildlife coexistence, and how to prevent and be prepared for wildlife emergencies. Everyone has a stake in a healthy environment. We need fish in our lakes; animals in our forests, and birds in our skies.
We are dedicated to supporting the animal care community, including veterinarians, shelters, and pet stores, with resources and guidance about our local wildlife and how to respond to inquires and emergencies. Please contact us if you are interested in partnering with KWC!
