KWC is excited to offer two summer positions dedicated to supporting Wildlife HERO Summer Day Camp and animal care.  These positions are funded through the Government of Canada Summer Jobs Program and are available to Canadian Youth 30 years and under in age. 

Education and Camp Coordinator (2 positions)

   Description of Duties:  Responsible for our Wildlife HERO Summer camp, creating an implementing wildlife conservation based curriculum, supervising and teaching campers, and engaging  and inspiring the general public by sharing information and fielding questions regarding Kawartha Wildlife Centre,  wildlife conservation, and wildlife rehabilitation.

   Additionally, successful candidates will aid in the general care of wildlife patients including but not  limited to husbandry, feeding, cleaning, charting, assessments and other operations of the centre.

Start Date: June 29, 2020 

End Date: August 21, 2020

Compensation: $15 per hour, 35 hours a week
