Wildlife Hero Summer Camp: Week 8

Wildlife HERO Summer Day Camp gives campers the opportunity to explore their surroundings while learning about wildlife habitat, conservation values and ways to be a wildlife HERO. Our programs offer animal and nature themed games, crafts and excursions to encourage kids to ask questions and challenge their understanding about nature and their place in it. We look forward to engaging with the next generation of wildlife stewards in our community.

KWC will be following all recommendations from the Provincial Government and Local Health Unit.

• KWC will be limiting the number of campers in each weekly camp to 8.
• Parents will be obliged to sign off each morning that they have done a health screening for activesymptoms each morning before drop off at camp. KWC will also have a thermometer to check forbody temperatures if needed.
• All campers will be required to bring their own packed lunches, waterbottles, sunscreen, and other consumables as these items will not be shared between campers.
• Face coverings will be required when physical distancing is not possible.
• Full refunds will be issued if the provincial government closes day camps as a result of COVID19.

Camp runs from 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm. Kids may be dropped off as early as 8:30am and must be picked up by 4:30pm. Late pickups will incur an additional charge of 50$ per day.
